We are a friendly, family club who welcome all age groups. Membership gives you a key to the courts at Adastra Park where you can play when you wish . On Tuesday and Thursday evenings we play as a mixed club group from 6 p.m. till dusk and on Saturday afternoons starting at 2.00pm from April till September. We hold several social tournaments throughout the year.
We also arrange social occasions not necessarily related to tennis - including walks, cycle rides, skittles evenings etc.
NEW MEMBERS ARE MOST WELCOME.
SUMMER TOURNAMENT: A very successful tournament was held on a beautiful July day. 12 members participated and a keenly fought event took place with winners being Lin Wylam for the Ladies and Dave Cooper for the Men. In the usual tradition an excellent convivial lunch was held at Cherie and Roberto's attended by many members. Wonderful location and garden and our thanks to them for their great hospitality.
SPRING TOURNAMENT: A great tournament was held with lovely food provided by ladies with some help, apparently, from the men! Although there were only 12 participants - see picture on home page - several other members turned up to enjoy the social occasion and the food, supplemented as usual with wine and beer provided by the Club. Winners were Mary Dowling and Ralph Wylam.

Our facilities include 3 hard courts which were refurbished in May 2008.

It is the club policy to keep membership fees in line with the changes made by the Parish Council,subject to raising adequate funds to meet our overhead expenses.

The purpose of these evenings is to exchange keys(or to receive new ones if you are a new member) and to renew your membership.
TOURNAMENTS.
One day American Tournaments (Spring, Summer and Winter)will be held during the year as follows:
Sunday 4 May - Spring Tournament
Food and refreshments will be organised by the Club for which a small contribution towards costs will be requested.
Sunday 13 July - Summer Tournament
A lunch will take place at a venue to be advised.
Sunday 30 November 12noon - Winter Tournament
Elaine and John Gilbert have again kindly offered to host the post tournament lunch.
NOTE: It is customary following the Summer and Winter Tournaments for one of our members to host a Lunch. Drinks are provided by the club, but you are all requested please to bring a food dish of your choice.
FRIENDLY MATCHES
Mary Dowling is again prepared to arrange some friendly matches for the coming season (which will consist of two pairs playing mixed doubles) provided that sufficient enthusiasm is shown by club members.
SOCIAL EVENING
Friday 25 April 7.30pm Hassocks Hotel Private Function Room: Will incorporate skittles and dry curling plus a buffet at cost of £10 per head. Please contact Karen or Maurice before 21 April if you wish to attend - very popular event last year!

Commencing in May we propose to to re-introduce a gathering at the Thatched Inn following play on the first Thursday of each month.
